Discover the amazing Lefkada

Surrounded by 24 islets, including Aristotle Onassis’ famous Scorpio, Lefkada is connected to the mainland coasts across the way by a floating bridge (50 m long), which makes it easily accessible to its visitors. It has important sights, churches and monasteries, picturesque settlements, dense vegetation, impressive bays with transparent turquoise waters, organized and deserted beaches of astonishing beauty, a high cultural tradition and hospitable residents.

Capital and port at the same time, the city of Lefkada is characterized by a special urban fabric reminiscent of a “herringbone”. Beautiful alleys, small squares, traditional houses, ornate bell towers and paved sidewalks compose the character of the city. Lefkada is surrounded by the channel and the lagoon, while further north lies the thin circular line of the sandy beach of Gyra with its few trees and windmills.
